Senior Finance Manager/Controller

Trabian is looking for a Senior Finance Manager or Controller to oversee our accounting, finance, and human resources functions, guide financial decision-making for the organization, and manage the fulfillment of the company's financial reporting requirements.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Exercise daily management over accounting and human resources personnel and ensure that departmental objectives are achieved, and efficient service is provided to our internal and external customers
  • Maintain proper financial reporting and general ledger administration
  • Verify and check completeness and accuracy of information recorded or computed by other individuals or subsidiary systems and locate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure proper funds management by maintaining appropriate balances
  • Review and authorize accounts payable
  • Review all monthly closing transactions, functions, and reconciliations
  • Provide financial analyses to our executive leadership and prepare board packages
  • Audit and provide oversight for client invoicing, employee expense reporting, payroll processing, and related functions
  • Maintain partner and vendor management and subscriptions
  • Lead P&L management and financial statement preparation for Trabian
  • Lead company budget creation, tracking and management
  • Develop a process to lead financial modeling for Trabian
  • Assist with preparation and review all internal and external financial reporting and provide accurate reporting to our parent company's Chief Financial Officer prior to general distribution
  • Coordinate assumption or forecasting changes and provide necessary analyses

You may be fit for this role if you:

  • Finance, Accounting, or related undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience
  • CPA Preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication, data analysis and presentation skills


Salary commensurate with experience.
