Papa's got a brand new office

We’ve been going through the “startup initiation process” since as long as Trabian has been together (and even before, when it was just a baby at Matt’s teet). I’m referring to the very gradual and gritty, but always exciting ascent that all infant companies must make in the name of 1) loving what they do, 2) making an impact and 3) never having to get a real job.

For Trabian, this has included such things as living on ramen, our executive staff (Matt and Trey) going for months without paychecks, and of course using Matt’s spare bedroom as our worldwide corporate headquarters. We still love ramen very much, but are happy (unbelievably happy) to announce that we have moved into a living, breathing, big and beautiful office.

We’re all so excited we don’t know what to do with ourselves. Matt keeps shouting “Viva Trabian!” and smashing bottles of champagne on the wall, Trey will not stop his celebratory break dancing, and Mark is constantly singing the theme song from “The Jeffersons.”

I, of course, continue to work with diligence and vision. Because that is my way – raw discipline. Check out pictures after the jump.

Did Brent just use the phrase “Matt’s teet” on the top of our website?

Your new digs are really tight (not to be confused with cramped). Still, I think your building requires signage, preferrably in neon, along the lines of: “Trabian – Where Genius Never Sleeps”. I think Albert Einstein said something like that during a bout of insomnia. Anyway, hope you guys are comfy and thanks for all of your help.

Haha thanks Tom. We were going to go with “Trabian – Where Genius Never Wears Tights,” but I like yours better.

I’m certain I’ll recall those words the next time I bicycle down to the Queen Mary in my “weasel squeezers”.

Guys, You mean you didn’t have an office before. You had me fooled! Congrats! Roger

Technically, we had an office; it just doubled as Matt’s residence. We even had clients visit us there! We didn’t really advertise it, but we also never ever hid it, either!

It was always in the plan to get office space when we outgrew our digs, and when the time came (this month), we made the move.

Add Trabian to the long list of wildly successful companies that started in garages, dorm rooms, or apartments. Apple, Google, Trabian. That’s got a nice ring to it!

Since no one is going to talk about the elephant in the room, I will. Tom, you have burned yourself into all of our hearts and minds with the phrase “weasel squeezers.”

My goal is to use it twice in a sentence this week. At least once while talking with a client.

Brent…Matt beat you to the “weasel Squeezers” sentence usage. It is a new tool he’s building for our new site

    Elephant…..What elephant?
